What Baby?

AJ and I had a picnic at Haas Park a little while ago, and I snapped this picture of him since he looked like such a KID! ...sitting on the picnic blanket, biting a rolled-up piece of lunch meat, looking at the park and what he might go climb on next. Now that AJ walks (and runs!), talks (a little), has teeth (7 with #8 on the way), I guess he's truly a toddler. Where did my baby go? Though he still snuggles with me to read books or drink his milk, he is definitely looking more like a little boy than a baby.



I must also mention that the sandals in this picture were pretty new this trip to the park, and very shortly thereafter, one went missing...still nowhere to be found. Hmmm. I asked AJ if he knew where it was and he only smiled and ran away. We have since bought a new pair of sandals that are meant to get wet, and they'd better not get lost!
