This past Sunday was Mothers' Day, and we went to the early service at our church and then headed to my parents' house. (With all the birthdays and events, it seems like we've been there every weekend!) All of the husbands as well as my Aunt and Uncle pitched in to make all the food and it was a feast! We had crabcakes, bruchetta, mango guacamole, and caprese salad as apps, then ribs, salmon, potatoes, fruit salad, etc. for lunch. It rocked! And of course, to feed AJ's belief that every visit to Omi and Pa's house includes cake, we had German Chocolate Cake & ice cream. :) Thanks, guys, for a wonderful Mothers' Day!
I wanted to get a picture of AJ and I together in my parents' backyard, and this is the best shot we could get...he was slightly uncooperative, to say the least!
